Savannah’s final year of college just went from bad to spectacularly awful. Instead of boring summer classes and dollar shot night, the world has gone insane. People everywhere are tearing each other apart. It’s not ideal.
Survival is the goal and Savannah has never been good at waiting for others to take the lead. If only life after the end were that simple. Between badly run emergency shelters, cruel experiments, and hordes of ravenous screamers, everything stands in her way.
Despite her best efforts to survive on her own, she finds herself with people who see more than a hard-partying girl with a knack for weapons. They see someone worth saving. As Savannah begins to realize the true strength of a trusted group, she also understands that she’ll do anything it takes to keep that group alive.
